I have been involved in search engine marketing since 1996 in some extremely competitive marketplaces such as real estate, retail, and online education and it is amazing to me how much search engines and search engine marketing has evolved over this time. The days of making small on page SEO changes to your site and submitting to Infoseek to see in 24 hours the change in positioning long gone. How about the days of getting into the Yahoo directory for free and it meant something? What about your paid search marketing with Goto.com where $1.00 got you 20 clicks to your website? Like they say all good things must come to an end.
The goal of this web site is not to reminisce about the past but to talk about where search engine marketing (link building, search engine optimization, social media, content syndication, email marketing, landing page optimization, video marketing, paid search quality score optimization, reputation management, etc.) is going today and where search engine optimization will be tomorrow. We don’t talk in “widgets” here as I love to use real world examples and call it like I see it. I hope you come here and enjoy the openness and honesty that our industry deserves as I feel the majority of SEM/SEO resource sites have never truly embraced this idea and I plan to accomplishing this here.
On a personal side I live in New Port Richey, Florida (about 1/2 hour North of Tampa) with my wonderful wife Alyson and my two great kids Jake (currently 
and Gianna (currently 7). I am a big sports fan and love to catch a round of golf anytime I can. I also like all kinds of motorcycles and have been riding them since I was 4. From dirt bikes to cruisers if you are on two wheels you are part of the family. I currently ride my 2007 Harley Davidson Electra Glide with great pride and joy.
