I cannot say I am a big fan of search engines giving you tools or suggestions as part of your account. Kind of asking a thief how to secure your home. Ok, maybe that is a little over the top but you get my point. The guys at Google are good people. Every time I run into Matt Cutts he always will give me sound answers to any questions I ask, but do you really think that Google is looking out for your best interest with a tool like this? Anyhow here they are:

Google’s Inside AdWords Team released an update to some of the advertiser’s accounts around Feb 19th and has been releasing this more to accounts over the past few weeks. A new analysis toolbar was added to make taking advantage of the new data analysis tools easier. The toolbar makes it easy to segment and filter your data for advanced reporting. It is located in your Campaigns tab and consolidates key function from the “filter and views” and “more actions” menus.
Also released during February is a new feature called Bid Ideas that was added to the Opportunities Tab. The new Bid Ideas feature gives you suggestions on if you should increase or decrease bids on specific keywords. According to Google’s Blog Post is based on data from the Bid Simulator. The new feature is is being released and may already be showing up in your account.
Now for the Google disclaimer – the Bid Ideas are not a prediction or an estimate of future performance, so be careful when following its suggestions. Yeah, I would actually go as far as saying take only a few keywords at first and try it out and monitor closely. See how it works for you and go from there as I have seen in the past what is good for your pay per click marketing campaign may not be for Google and vice versa.
Enjoy
